Clementine Art Natural Paints for Kids

Clementine Art is a great find.  The company creates professional-quality and earth-friendly art supplies with pure, simple ingredients. Their modeling clay is colored by spinach and turmeric! Using plant and mineral pigments versus artificial dyes or chemicals their paints, clay, crayons and more do not contain any synthetic preservatives, animal byproducts, or petroleum bases.  I love that!

Clementine is all about being gentle to the earth as well as to kids.  All of their resources are renewable with the packaging consisting of 80% post-consumer recycled materials and soy-based inks used for printing.  Did I mention that their facility is also wind-powered?  It is.

So how well do the Clementine Art Tempera paints ($13.99) perform compared to other paints?  Just as well, if not better. Unlike some washable paint products (Clementine won't stain) they are not in some funky gel form.  The colors are true and natural looking and the paint goes on at a nice consistency. It's not gooey or too thick or thin.  My daughters had a ball with them. They dry in a short amount of time and don't crack either.  I only wish that there was more in each jar.  However, I would certainly buy them again and can't wait to try out their other products, including crayons and clay.

Clementine Art supplies are available online at the company website and at these retailers.
