Mr. Men & Little Misses! They're baack!

Remember Dillydale? That crazy little town filled with electric colored tiny people full of personality? As a kid, I adored those fun Mr. Men and Little Misses books. Now I’m happy to not only be able to share the books but also the cartoon show, The Mr. Men Show, with my daughter.

Debuting this week, February 4, on the Cartoon Network you can view this show with your child and see the legendary series of books by Roger Hargreaves come to life. Each episode will air at 9 a.m. on weekday mornings. It is the first animated sketch comedy set geared for children. It is loads of vibrant colored, silly antics fun too. What could be better than seeing Little Miss Whoops work for Mr. Nervous in his china shop?

I love all the distinct personalities that each character possesses. It makes it enjoyable and easy for my daughter to learn about the different traits too. The show also has a retro feel to it which I like. My daughter viewed the Boo Boo episode and thought the dance interludes and music videos were very entertaining. She immdieately recogonized some of the characters from the books in the series and found the whole thing fun to watch.

If you loved the Mr. Men and Little Misses books as a kid you will enjoy this bit of nostalgia and have fun watching it with your kids. Check it out each weekday at 9 a.m. For more information about the show or merchandise click here.
