Choccreate- Your Chocolate Your Way

Create your own chocolate- your way! What a lovely idea, no? Indeed.  I was given a gift certificate to test out the website Choccreate and create my own chocolate bars.  It was fun, easy and the bars arrived in a pretty little box in a matter of days.  How did they taste?

Divine.

Really, they did. I was skeptical too because some of the combinations I chose might not taste so good.  The service that Choccreate gives starts off simple.  You choose the base of the bar- white chocolate, dark or milk chocolate ($3.95 each).  From there you can add a wide array of goodies ranging from candy, nuts, flowers, spices and more.  The base is a superb gourmet chocolate and I chose one of each.  I added pretzels and a pair of candy red lips to the white chocolate bar.  I paired dark chocolate with sea salt and dried sour cherries (my favorite concoction) and coconut and brown sugar with marshmallows to the milk chocolate.  As I clicked through the steps I found that candied flowers, various peppers and additions of goldfish crackers, gummy bears, sesame seeds, nuts, cereals, red Hawaiian sea salt and SO MUCH MORE could be added.  It is a lot to take in.  I wanted to click and click and add more and more and make quite a few chocolate bars.

The diverse flavors and many options create a nice and unique candy service. I think that Choccreate makes a great gift for candy and chocolate lovers.  It's fun and tastes great. The ingredients are of a high quality and very fresh.

I'm giving away a gift certificate for $25 to one lucky winner.  Enter by commenting (don't forget your email so I can contact you!) and Tweet or post on Facebook (send me the link) to enter again.  I will choose a winner at random on April 1, 2011 (no fooling!).

That's a great idea for those times I can't find a gift! Thanks for the link and info.

I love the concept of this. I wonder how many varieties of chocolate and nutella or peanut butter one can come up with? ;)
