Ice Breakers Frost

New from Hershey's are Ice Breakers Frost in flavors Wintercool and Peppermint.  I tried the Peppermint recently and loved them.  I am not a fan of strong mints.  I often bypass peppermint flavors because of the intensity that many mints have these days.  However, I brought the Ice Breakers Frost with me on a recent business trip and everyone who had one loved them.  My husband stated, "They last and taste great.  They don't overpower you or burn your mouth.  That is so nice!"  It's true.  Packed with cooling crystals these mints are pleasant in size and feeling. They are not too big or small.  They last a while too. The Ice Breakers Frost offers a minty, refreshing flavor that freshens your breath and tastes good.

I just had a wintercool frost and it burned my mouth and throat so badly that I started coughing and my eyes started watering. I grabbed my ice water for some relief and what a mistake that was! I guess it was the cooling power of the mint combined with the ice cold water, but I proceeded to have the worst aching pain in my throat and mouth (almost like ice cream headache pain. It was about 10 seconds of torture and I could barely breathe.

Sara I had the same experience except my burning feeling in my throat lasted over an hour! I have been looking all over the Internet to see if anyone had a similar experience and it's interesting to have finally found one!

I had the same reaction tonight. I am about halfway through my 1.2oz of IceBreakers Frost Peppermint and have been loving them. However, tonight I had a horrible attack of extreme cold feeling to the back of my throat. I thought my esophagous was going to close. I took water just to try to get rid of the feeling and hit hurt and I choked on it. Just to breathe through my mouth or nose hurt. I do not know why this suddenly happened after only having one. I had up to 5 at one time without any issue. Be careful! I am going to report this to the company today.

I bit a chunk off my peppermint Ice Breakers Frost. Almost unbearable! The freezing sensation with each inhalation resulted in the 'ice-cream' headache. No immediate cure, just slowly breathing thru my nose and waiting 5 minutes brought relief. Probably simpler just eating an Altoid!

Had the same thing happen to me with the intense burning, grabbing water to ease the pain and it was like throwing fuel on a fire! it lasted about 5 mins. could barely beathe every breath was like breathing in a chemical ice-fire. I have been buying them for a long time and most of the mints are strong but good. I have had this happen maybe once before but this was far by the worst of any kind of pain like this.
