Double Whammy- Pure Silk Shave Cream & Duri Nail Polish

Need to get in the spirit of St. Valentine's Day this weekend but don't know where to turn? How about some Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream or Duri nail polish to add a bit of glitz and pampering to the lovely day?

Pure Silk shave cream by Barbasol is not just moisturizing but it offers a nice, clean shave as well. The generously sized canister also comes in a delicious, but not overwhelming scent, Raspberry Mist. Packed with aloe to eliminate irritation and dryness Pure Silk comes in Peach & Cream, Melon Splash and Coconut & Oat Flour scents. If you think that Barbasol shaving creams are just for men but repackaged in pink, think again. I enjoyed using this shave cream. It is thick and creamy, truly moisturizing even in this very dry winter air and smelled nice. While it is not my typical non-sulfate shave cream it does come in a rust proof can, can be bought in travel size and does the job quite well.

Pure Silk can be purchased at drugstores, grocery stores and big box discount stores nationwide. It is competitively priced too.

MPR Rating:  Three Stars.

Duri nail polish ($5) is a great way and economical way to sweeten up your Valentine weekend. Shades named Passion in deep red or Love Me Tender in a pretty pink make your nails festive, glossy and stylish all at once. I tested Passion out and found the red to be a nice true red with a slightly deeper look to it. It is perfect for this time of year. It goes on smooth, dries quickly and I did not have any streaking. I managed to wear it for about three days before the first chip occurred, which is fantastic.

Duri Cosmetics nail line boasts many fine products that are Allure magazine and Glam.com winners for many years. There are over two hundred colors to choose from too. From Ridge Filling base coats to cuticle remover and Quick Dry Oil Duri have your nail needs covered.

Duri nail polish can be purchased online at the company webstore or in spas and beauty salons nationwide.
