Boots- Affordable Organic Skincare

Created by John Boots, an English herbalist, the Boots product line is affordable beauty that really works. Boots products have been available in the UK for over a century. In the last few years have gained popularity in the US since their debut at Target. Their mission states "Boots is dedicated to developing effective and innovative beauty products that deliver results for women and men across the globe. We believe that beauty products should be accessible and affordable for all and are proud of the contributions we make to the well-being of the communities we serve." The Boots Organic Skincare line is no exception. I received the body lotion, wash and skin smoothing polish to test out and found them all to be quality products.

The Body lotion ($8.99) is lightweight but don't be fooled. It is not so light that it cannot tackle winter's dry skin. I have been using it for weeks during this never-ending cold snap and it has been keeping my skin smooth, supple and soft. I don't have the tight feeling that typically happens during the winter. I love the scent too. It is light, blends in well, and does not interfere with my perfume. I would buy it again.

The Botanics Body wash ($8.99, 6.7 fl oz.) is also lightly scented with a blend of essential oils and lathers nicely. Like all the other organic Botanics products, the body wash is not tested on animals. It cleans my skin without stripping it of its natural oils and leaves me feeling fresh and awakened. The tube makes it easy to use at home or at the gym.

Boots Botanic Organic Skin Smoothing Polish ($8.99, 3.3 fl oz) is a generous size tube for an exfoliate. It's a light beige color and aims to leave your skin soft, smooth and radiant. It is definitely a softer scrub without harsh pieces to rough up your skin. The creamy base smoothes onto your skin while scrubbing away the dead skin cells. I have been using it twice a week and found that it has kept those stubborn dry patches that I usually get during the winter from forming on my cheeks. That has been a nice change.
Overall, I found that Boots Organic Botanic products to be affordable quality items that really work. I like that I can order them from Drugstore.com or buy them at my local Target too. Their No. 7 line is quite popular and I am anxious to delve further into this skincare family. There are quite a few more items in the Organic Botanics line as well. From balm and Rosewater toner to hand wash and a whole skincare kit this line has you covered. It is an excellent introduction to the Boots brand.
