I thought your Pearls of Wisdom post was interesting. I can't believe your doctor did that to you! Most doctors go a little too far in the other direction, just to avoid scaring people to death. Bad doc!

Also, I am supremely jealous of you for getting to go to BlogHer!

I like "Mary Poppins Can Bite Me". Even just the title makes me laugh!

I like Traveling my Childhood Fantasies. I think all kids have some sort of morbid interest.

I was immediately drawn to your 10-9 post of "I will not be winning any grill cook-offs anytime soon" b/c I thought it was a story about cooking, which I enjoy. But when I read about what happened to you, I realized it was a much more serious topic. Must have been very scary. Glad it was not any worse. Well-written, BTW.

Right now I'm digging "I'm at Your Service. If You Want." I just started going back to the gym & have been aiming at 5 days a week, yet "something" seems to always hinder my plans. Post definitely reminded me to make that extra effort to fit the gym into my schedule!

I enjoyed: I Will Not Be Winning Any Grill-Offs Any Time Soon. I've done that, and yes the stench of burnt hair takes a long while to go away!
