PG Tips Tea

I grew up in a tea drinking household.  When my parents visit the tea kettle is always being fired up and a cup of tea is brewing.  PG Tips Tea Company sent me two boxes of tea- Regular and Green tea.

What I liked about PG Tips tea (about $4 for 40 bags) is that the color is nice and rich.  A deep brown that isn't murky developed in my cup.  The pyramid shaped bags offering breathing room for the tea which also helps add more flavor to each cup.  What's with the tips?  PG Tips uses only uses only the top two leaves and a bud which are known as tips, hence the name and the great flavor.  I really did enjoy this tea and so did my family.  The flavor was robust but not overpowering and never bitter.  Made in Manchester, England it is Britian's number one tea for a reason.  The loose leaves in the bags enable the tea to fully develop while brewing.  PG Tips teas are a good find and one I highly recommend.

PG Tips is also into being sustainable and helping farmers which I can always get behind.  Available at your local grocer and online at Amazon
