Disney On Ice Recap

Thanks to MomCentral and Feld Entertainment we trekked out to the Patriot Center last night to see Disney on Ice Celebrations. I've discussed my feelings on all things Disney here, in school parking lots and basically anywhere there is oxygen and a place for me to soap box rant on being a feminist and raising daughters without Disney princesses.

All that pink. All that rescuing. Blah.

But I digress, there's ice skating and popcorn and glow in the dark brooms dancing to Fantasia! Yes, there was princessy stuff, including the addition of the newest one bedecked in her froggy green gown, but TD loved it and so did The Comedian. In fact, she might have liked it better than TD. The lights, the music she was weaving, bopping, head rolling and clapping to it all. She could barely contain her pint-sized self. It was adorable and I loved every minute of it. TD consulted her program throughout the show and really got into it. Even better? She hasn't figured out that all that loot for sale outside the show is something she can ask for and have. Nope, she thinks it is just for looking and that is perfectly fine. It was a great night and I'm so glad we did it.
